Community Care
You care. We care. Community Care.

LifeSource's Community Care program, FoodCare, was established in 2014. We offer food bundles at affordable prices to low-income and at-risk community members, including Centrelink benefit card holders.
The FoodCare team aims to support individuals and families facing challenges such as homelessness, unemployment, single parenthood, domestic violence, disability, and aged care. Our partnerships with local council, several food rescue agencies and private donors enables us to provide this service.

LifeSource Community Foodcare opens between 9 am and 12 noon on Thursdays

All Community shoppers are asked to register upon arrival at FoodCare to receive their membership card and then to move to the parcel pick up area. We would appreciate those shoppers paying by cash have the correct amount. Payment by debit or credit card is preferred.

LifeSource Community Care also offers assistance through our Chaplaincy program during FoodCare mornings.
Our Chaplains are professionally trained to provide excellent pastoral and spiritual care. Understanding the importance of personal conversations taking place in a relaxed atmosphere, they come alongside community members to offer support and encouragement, especially during challenging times. Everyone is entitled to respect and care with dignity. There is no obligation to engage with a Chaplain, but they are available on Thursday mornings and happy to talk.
